Nowadays the web is where you look for musical downloads, encyclopaedias, TV, radio, news, everything. So I thought if I'm going to be at the cutting edge of new fiction, I should be on line. For free. Like everything else.
I get my stories before a vast public. You get some free entertainment. I hope you even get food for thought. (Maybe I get a little advertising revenue.) Wonderful
Well not quite. The publishers and paper manufacturers and book shops don't get anything. And I'm sorry for that, but move with the times.
Then sadly the editors don't get anything either. I have done my own revising and checking and re revising and re-re-checking. But there are still mistakes all over and I have no one to blame but myself. So perhaps I should have gone to an old fashioned publisher? No. Sod it. You won't notice most of them anyway.
